Performance Chiropractic is pleased to introduce our own brand of custom foot orthotics to Irvine, California. Our orthotics are suitable for use by youths (over the age of 12) or adults.
Custom Foot Orthotics are externally applied, prescription foot supports, used to modify the structural and functional characteristics of the neuromuscular and skeletal system. Performance Chiropractic can help you with:
- professional evaluation services
- evaluation of patients’ current strength level
- measurement and impression taking
- application of orthoses
- ongoing care for adjustments
We are able to offer you a few different styles to choose from. From casual use to dress shoes to a wider design suitable for work boots. All our orthotics are designed using a non-weight bearing proprietary image processing technology to produce a custom 3D model file geometry to ensure a perfect fit. They are then sent to the manufacturer and within 7 to 10 business days, you will receive your new orthotics. All at very reasonable prices – compared to local Irvine Foot Orthotics competitor’s.

How do Foot Orthotics help?
Custom Foot Orthotics can help your body achieve a more natural balance and regular movement patterns, thereby reducing the pain and discomfort you are experiencing. Nobody understands this better than Performance Chiropractic as we have been working with custom orthotics for years!
We use innovative orthotic designs that are a pleasure to wear. They are comfortable and gently assist in reducing problems associated with pressure points, muscle strains and abnormal forces on your feet, ankles, knees, hips and spine.
Over time, your custom orthotics will bring you relief from pain and fatigue, allowing you to enjoy daily activities once again.
Foot Orthotics FAQs
Q) Should I wear my custom orthotics all the time?
A) The longer you wear your custom orthotics the more benefit you will get out of them. If your daily activities vary to the extent that you change your footwear, then you should have a second pair of custom orthotics designed for that specific activity. (I.e. going to the gym after work)
Q) Why do my new custom orthotics feel uncomfortable?
A) Since the custom orthotic works to realign the structure of your foot you may feel pressure in some areas as the custom orthotic attempts to do its job. For this reason custom orthotics should be worn in two hour intervals and slowly extend the wear time over a period of two weeks.
Q) Will my muscles get weaker wearing custom orthotics?
A) Custom orthotics will not reduce muscles tone. They will help position your foot so you will be using the right muscles at the right time, minimizing fatigue and allowing your muscles to be used more efficiently.
